Hi Glen,

It sometimes boggles my mind that people are using software cobbled 30 years ago.

Please give me feedback on your build success or failure. I have tried to clean things up,
although I am not sure the current package will compile on UNIX 6 (circa 1979),
but then, who cares?

I've made recent portability changes, so these might help you.

I am currently working on and off (mostly off) on compiling a version for 64-bit Windows.

Good luck!

UCSC is very beautiful. It is a very different culture than the usual US school,
and I suspect Indian schools. More holistic and cooperative than focused and
competitive. Looking at her pubs, awards, and grants Sri Kurniawan is doing very well,
although for tenure, I think her department would prefer more journal papers.

You might wish to look to the cognitive science and psychology departments for
other people interested in human factors in computing.

Good luck in your adventure!

Gary
