I search for Digital Library in HFES titles, but get no match. I switch to the Rest of HFES.org and get some promising links, so I go to the site map and find Digital Library under Publications. I did not recall that link under Publications on the left...because it is not there. I search for HFES and get 1080 results. The first page even includes something by me from 1998, a review I guess, but no annal meetings. I decide instead to Browse by Title: http://online.sagepub.com/browse/by/title and under H I find the HF journal: http://hfs.sagepub.com/ I try A, but find nothing. I try P and find the proceedings: http://pro.sagepub.com/ I click on All Issues: http://pro.sagepub.com/content and get a very nice table with links to 1974-2011. I should note that the following 11 years have no online content: 1977-1981 + 1988-1989 + 1991-1993 + 1997 2011 is available and clicking: http://pro.sagepub.com/content/by/year/2011 shows one "issue" wit 2192 pages. Unlike the other years, which are broken into smaller pieces (not corresponding to the technical groups as was done at ingenta), this page takes over a minute to load: http://pro.sagepub.com/content/55/1.toc The page is 1,634,944 characters but took a respectable 5.19 seconds to be delivered. The page title is "Table of Contents - September 2011, (55) 1". HTML headings h1, h2, h3, and h4 are used nicely, but clicking on a heading to get to a section still takes a few seconds. Going to an abstract is quick, but backing up to the Table of Contents is to be avoided at all costs. The abstracts have the main part of the title, without subtitle as page titles (the html tag), which is better than a lot of the other titles. So, that was my experience, and I think others might be having the same experience. I'd say at the very least, some links from the proceedings pages to the corresponding sage.com papers would avoid a lot of the troubles I had.
