Hi,

I corrected the typo.

I am happy to include the journal and conference, which I have started to look at.

* The records are very close to what is used in the HCI Bibliography.
* Some records have authors in "lastname firstnames" format, some "firstnames lastnames".
 RRIOC-BibA.txt:%A Titus Felix Furtuna
 RoCHI2008-BibA.txt:%A Titus Felix Furtuna
 RoCHI2009-BibA.txt:%A Furtuna Titus Felix
It is difficult for me to recognize which is which despite me having a Romanian great-grandfather.
When in "lastname firstnames" format, a comma is after the lastname (e.g., Fortuna, Felix Titus).
* Diacritics seemed to be missing from the files. The HCI Bibligraphy can work with UTF-8
or mnemonic entities (e.g., é) both for indexing and display, although some
diacritics might need some work (e.g., most browsers do not display č).
There is no problem with not displaying the diacritics, but some authors prefer to see them.
* The URLs are not too useful because they are very general. Links to full papers are preferred.

I will work on the authors and incorporate the articles this week.

Dear Costin,

I made a first pass to add the journal and the conference.

There are a few things to fix, but you should get an idea of
what's been done from the www.hcibib.org home page.

Best,

Gary

Dear Costin,

If you can get the materials together for the other RoCHI conferences,
I would be pleased to add them. Even without abstracts, the titles are useful
and allow followups by people interested in the work, even in Romanian.

Some comments:
 * From this page: http://www.ici.ro/chi-romania/RoCHI-Con.htm
 - the link to ACM-SIGCHI Conferences should be
 http://www.sigchi.org/conferences/
 - the link to Hans de Graaff's page should be changed because he is no longer maintaining it.
 I suggest:
 http://hcibib.org/events.html

Finally, of perhaps personal interest, from the HCI authors page:
 http://hcibib.org/bs.cgi?query=Pribeanu_C*&searchtype=topauthor&highlight=checked&facetsize=10
and you could pass on:
 http://hcibib.org/bs.cgi?query=Gorgan_D*&searchtype=topauthor&highlight=checked&facetsize=10

Dear Costin and Dorian,

I would be honoured and pleased to serve on the advisory board. As you can imagine from my work on the HCI Bibliography, I am very interested in helping promote HCI research and practice internationally, particularly in making people aware of what others are working on in different countries. That includes making people aware of what work is going on on Romania, and in helping promote HCI work in Romania.

The HCI Bibliography does not have an advisory board, but if you have ideas about hcibib.org could better help you, please do not hesitate to make suggestions, or complaints, or comments.

I do not have |STAT compiled for 64-bit, but I think it will compile and work in a 64-bit env.

From these,

http://oldwww.acm.org/perlman/stat/history.html#refs

I suggest this one:

Perlman, G., & Horan, F. L. (1986) Report on |STAT Release 5.1 Data Analysis Programs for UNIX and MSDOS. Behavior Research Methods, Instruments, & Computers, 18.2, 168-176.

or, you might just point to:

http://www.acm.org/perlman/stat/

If you are working on a thesis, I'm wondering if the programs were last changed
before you were born. I think that's kind of amazing.

Best wishes,

Gary
