Dear Friends and Colleagues:

It is my pleasure to invite you to attend this year's SIGCHI Awards dinner ceremony.
The Awards dinner will be held on Sunday evening, May 8, from 6:00-9:00 pm.
at the Pan Pacific Hotel Vancouver, 300-999 Canada Place, Vancouver, British Columbia.(604) 662-8111.
The hotel is located next to the Vancouver Convention Center.

The dinner celebration is open by invitation only to past and present recipients of SIGCHI's awards
(including members of the CHI Academy), a spouse or guest for each recipient, the CHI Conference Chairs,
and current members of the SIGCHI Executive Committee.
There is no charge for this year's award recipients and their spouse/ guest or for members of the SIGCHI Executive Committee.
For past recipients and their spouse/guest, there is a charge of $90 per person for the dinner.

If you've attended one of these events before, you probably know already that there is something very special
about gathering together with some of the greatest contributors to our field for social conversation and celebration.
I hope many of you will be able to join us.

Please register for the dinner here: http://www.regonline.com/chi2011AwardsBanquet.

If you have any questions about the registration procedure, you may contact Yvonne Lopez at chiregistration@executivevents.com

I wish each of you the very best, and hope to see you at the Awards dinner!

Gerrit van der Veer
President, SIGCHI
